The first wristwatch showing date and day of the week.

Oyster Perpetual Day-Date was born in 1956. It was the first wristwatch that indicated the date and the day of the week in full within a window on the dial. Only available in platinum or 18k gold, it was equipped with the President bracelet, originally created exclusively for this model.

Dial: Gold dial with lume

Indications: Date at 3 o'clock and Day between 11 and 1 o'clock

Case: 18k yellow gold measures 36 x 44 mm

Watch strap: 20 mm dark brown leather strap

Movement: caliber 1556 automatic movement
